I think this video pretty much sums up how much fun being a renegade can be:

I heard all the hullabaloo about ME2, and decided to give it a go. Of course, I had to play ME1 first in order to be up to speed with the storyline and whatnot, so I went ahead and got it from Steam. I had a bit of trepidation as I was never a big fan of Sci-Fi/space kind of stuff.
Man, was I wrong. ME1 was awesome, and I went through it as a paragon in about a week. Finished it late one night and went and bought ME2 right then and there so it would download overnight and then dove into it the next day. I really like what they've done in ME2 with the combat system and just the little upgrades....having a captain's cabin and whatnot...and how they've integrated your savegame material from ME1 into the storyline of ME2 is absolutely impressive. All I have to say is Miranda is HAWT, and everytime I see the Illusive Man smoking, it makes me go outside for a cig. For as addicted I am to it, this game is going to smoke me into a tumor! |
I did pretty much the same thing. Played ME 1 in its entirety. Finished EVERYTHING in one playthrough, and capped my shepard out at level 50.
Now ME2 has me by the balls. I love what they did with it, and I can see myself playing/replaying this for awhile. Rumormill is, ME3 is in the making now, and you'll be able to continue your character if you didn't die in ME2. OH yeah, and Miranda is smoking hot, but i think the devs did that on purpose.. to tempt you. Not an issue if you didn't bang Ashley in ME1, but i hear if you cheat on her in ME2, its gonna bite you in the ass in ME3. |
Yup, coming up on the 50-level cap myself. Looted a pair of geth pulse rifles, so anytime I'm planetside with Garrus the firefights sound really awesome.
Now I have to decide whether I want to do another playthrough with this character or start an Engineer +Assault Rifle skill like I was going to. :hmmm: |

Boy am I in heaven with ME2. Finally got my Xbox 360 back after a RROD. Found out that its actually an entirely new unit. Good stuff. That makes this box number 4! Worst console ever, luckily its game library and fun factor outweigh the cons I've experienced (The first 2 being easy return to store and swap out consoles, damn hdd and dvd drive failures)
Loving the new game, but I miss the old style heat accumulation firing mechanic. I also miss the Mako, I liked exploring in that thing. Planet scanning is complete fail material unfortunately. New races and characters make up for it though. Only about 1/3d of the way in. Just landed on Illium, finished up a couple of jobs there and sent a stupid fanboy home. Looking forward to getting deeper into the game to see what awaits me. |
More freebies for the fans. :)
Get a Charge Out of Mass Effect 2's Latest Gun What are you waiting for? It's available now! :D |
I don't see the point of releasing new weapons. Why? Because the stock pistol (the better one) is already pretty much the best weapon in the game for everything else than the bigger opponents. :yep:

I've got all the DLC, good thing Bioware's releasing that stuff for free so far. No MSP on my Live account. Hoping Fire Walker is out soon
|
Well finished my first run through. And I have to say its got me wanting to play it again. So thats probably why I'm speed running a Black Renegade Vangaurd Shepard through ME1.
My one gripe. Its too short, even with the planet scanning bull you have to go through to get minerals. |
