#1 SH4 1.4, =s SH4 patched to 1.4. Seperate folder in Programs files /UBI
#2 You will need to use Multi SH4,to have seperate documents folder for each install. I call one SH4-FOTRS,the other SH4-1.5
#3 Install JSGME,run it,now you will notice a mod folder. place unziped mod into mod folder,open JSGME icon activate mod, & your hot to go !

You are very kind to answer my question...but I don't understand the procedure. I have version 1.5 right now and would like to have an addition version to 1.4 with FOTRS.

When I try to execute the original exe to install the game a prompt tells me that it is not possible to continue to install becasue I am installing a version that is lower than version 1.5. How to I accomplish a duel instalation?

After 4 patrols,this is the best mod yet.Pure enjoyment !
 

Install from game disc to folder SH4-FOTRS,YOU created & renamed in Programs files/Ubi,when asked where to install. Patch to 1.4,use Multi SH4 to set up seperate my documents folder,also call it SH4-FOTARS. Download Mod install Jsgme step#3.Thats the best I can explain mate. Wrap your head around it you can do.:rock: Can someone better explain ?

Thanks again for the reply. I placed a folder named in c/program files/ubi/SH4-FOTARS and tryed the install exe. I purchased SH4 by downloading it from the net and also purchased the 1.5 version as a download product. When I execute the original exe which would install version 1.00.0000 I get an error message from the install wizard. It says----

The setup has detected that version 1.5 is already installed. This setup installs an earlier version of Sh4. You will have to uninstall the previous version before installing this version.


I can't get beyond this.

I purchased SH4 by downloading it from the net . Get Ebay disc.

Enjoy your mod very much. I think it's one of the best. However, the TBT does not track a full 360. I was told that this is because it's not possible to swing it to the 180 position. But, I see that there was a TBT mounted on the stern of the the bridge, allowing the captain to view targets astern of the sub. Photos of this can be seen at US Navy ships. Also, in the movie, Run Silent Run Deep, they use the stern mounted TBT to track a Jap target. Hope this helps in any future add on' s to your mod. I think the periscope view is to large. Thanks for this mod.

I just removed SH4 1.5 and reloaded FS4 with this mod. It is very nice, however, as I am not versed in German, some of the items are still using that language. Perhaps a list of the items that are in German could have an English translation.
are you planning to add some other mods? although it looks very good and runs well. I started at the very beginning and the first mission was to go to Japan and drop off some people. I din't like the same mission in v1.5 and was suprised that this one was very good.
Also, how can I get my Umark back?

find umark.dds,Actually I think it is in the data\misc folder,of stock game.disable mod,and add to mod in correct folder.German could have an English translation.

Hi i just tryed to download the file, its like dead or osmething, it said i downloaded it in 5 mins only 9mbs downloaded ;( and then i downloaded it and it wont open. its a plain white file, no install link thing, its like a old/outdated file cant open/use. can someone help please:)? thanks, I cant play sh4 because everyone uses this mod :/:damn:

Try downloading it again, xrayer123, I just finished downloading the english version myself and had no problem at all. It should be over 600 megabytes. And yes, JSGME would be the best way to install it. It's a .rar file, so you'll have to extract it with WinRAR or 7zip.

thank you for info, I am downloading it again and its very slow like it should be, not 5min download 9mb lol. 6 hours to go and 80+ mb downloaded :)
