well I am still playing, tho in short bursts. I bought a new card just for this game (nvidea 7600 GS) and whilst it was a huge improvement to the radeon 9600, I still get fustrated when I get locked into the 1fps - 50 fps cycle:damn: for no apparent reason (not seeing that monolith, but suppose it could be there!)

I am still learning the systems which makes me forgive the errors, but still say they should provide some feedback on whats being fixed and when we are likely to see it. Every large organisations have deadlines, they must know when they intend to publish it, wouldnt hurt to tell the community.

Well,,I've had a couple of CTD, not hardware related, and so far, besides the CTD, the game runs oki doki, (although the game has its hic-ups/bugs,) BUT 2 CTD are 2 to many:know: .
These are my 2 first CTD in at least over 1 year time and a looooot of games go "through" this computer.

Don't worry, happens to me now and then as well.. and I never see it.

No... in fact I am not sure I made it out of Afghanistan with it... after I broke my leg and was sent to the hospital... since I was going to be there a fairly lenghty period of time... they pack your personal stuff up and send to you.... I think it got "liberated" when my stuff was packed... along with some movies I bought and a player... :damn: :damn: I don't remember seeing it when I got back to the states!!!

Sharky may have it in her archives somewhere though... she doesn't delete ANYTHING!!!! :rotfl:

TDC on auto worked just fine for me. sank that cruiser in the academy w/ ALL 4 torps.:D (again must have done something right).

Anywhoo, like w/ everyone else, will await the patch.:)

I remember when sh2 came out and there after DC it was a tough battle getting things squared away... but it was and then the sailing went smooth.

I'm sure that the same will be with sh4 but we have to have patience.

My question was ETA on the new patch and it appears that no one knows for sure, thats cool.

I'll hang in there on SH4 cause I enjoy submarine sims. :)
