Here's the skinny. No one's order has actually shipped. You will not get it until the 20th. It sucks. It Blows. But it's true. I thought I would be greeting my copy right now, but it ain't here. Seems rocco's information was correct. Just saw this statement from Audibleknight on the Ubisoft boards.
"Hey everyone, there's been some talk in the forums about SH4 shipping early from the US Ubi store so that it will arrive in the next few days. I checked with my contact in the Ubi store, and have been informed that any e-mails received on this was due to a system error due to the change in release date. This means that unfortunately you will not receive your copy of Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific this weekend. I figure it's better that you have an offial statement now, rather than be disappointed this weekend when nothing comes. I was assured that the Ubi Store will ship the orders as soon as possible with the goal that everyone who pre-ordered at the US store will get it and be able to play on March 20th. I apologize for any confusion and disappointment caused by this. Thanks for your understanding." |

Did you read anything I've wrote? Mine said it shipped the 8th, with overnight shipping I should be holding it in my hands!!! I called the support number, pissed off because I paid big bucks for overnight shipping. They said it has been delayed and that I should not expect it until the 20th. I complained, claiming they were shipping it as standard ground in order to save on the shipping costs. He said that is not the case and that when I receive the order I can confirm that it was indeed shipped overnight. Maybe you should try calling again, as I'm not sure when you called, I called Mar. 9th at about 5pm central time. Hope this can help clear things up. Rocco PS I'm just as pissed as the rest of you |
