I was told Saturday or Monday for my order to arrive. I wonder if it's becuase my order was sent off to the warehouse yesterday morning. He said if the order went out today, it would probably be an extra day, and the orders that went out yesterday would more than likely be shipping today (for Overnight orders). Either way, putting "Quantity Shipped: 1" on the "My Orders" page is misleading.

Heck, I wasn't even planning on recieving it until the 20th. though. lol

OK folks.

Here's the skinny.

No one's order has actually shipped. You will not get it until the 20th. It sucks. It Blows. But it's true.

I thought I would be greeting my copy right now, but it ain't here. Call that support number you see above and they will tell you what I'm telling you.

Hmm, isn't it illegal, or at least a violation of Visa rules, to charge a card for a product if the product has not yet shipped?

I did call the support number, and that is not what they told me. : /

*EDIT* ...and of course, the information I got was inaccurate. Figures.

At least I have ArmA to keep me busy. :D

Seems rocco's information was correct. Just saw this statement from Audibleknight on the Ubisoft boards.

"Hey everyone, there's been some talk in the forums about SH4 shipping early from the US Ubi store so that it will arrive in the next few days. I checked with my contact in the Ubi store, and have been informed that any e-mails received on this was due to a system error due to the change in release date. This means that unfortunately you will not receive your copy of Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific this weekend. I figure it's better that you have an offial statement now, rather than be disappointed this weekend when nothing comes.

I was assured that the Ubi Store will ship the orders as soon as possible with the goal that everyone who pre-ordered at the US store will get it and be able to play on March 20th. I apologize for any confusion and disappointment caused by this. Thanks for your understanding."

Finally some official word.

It would be nice if Ubisoft would at least inform people via their website, rather than have 2-3 different dates floating around, and then letting discussions carry on for a few days.

Did everybody miss my thread I posted this morning....DIRECTLY after I called and spoke to an Ubi representative and posted what he told me? LOL :D

Mine said it shipped the 8th, with overnight shipping I should be holding it in my hands!!! I called the support number, pissed off because I paid big bucks for overnight shipping. They said it has been delayed and that I should not expect it until the 20th.

I complained, claiming they were shipping it as standard ground in order to save on the shipping costs. He said that is not the case and that when I receive the order I can confirm that it was indeed shipped overnight. Maybe you should try calling again, as I'm not sure when you called, I called Mar. 9th at about 5pm central time.

Hope this can help clear things up.

I too have the same order information, as well as the same shipping. We all seem to get different information depending on what site we go to, who we speak to, or who feeds us information. Of course, Ubi isn't known for the most accurate information. Now we have a community manager telling us that his "contact" told him something different. Yay for a lack of communication. That's what is disappointing. I call in the morning and get one answer. You call in the late afternoon and get a different answer. Is there anybody at Ubi that actually knows what is going on?

I'm not pissed at all. I expected to get the product on the 20th. I just think it's poor form for a company to seemingly completely lack organization.

I hope that clarifies my position on this matter. :)
