US/Canada
Get a regular, non-CE version.
Initially, all these copies will ship with extra goodies. At some point, some or all of the extra's will be removed and just the basic game contents will be included.

Collectors Edition:
Made available to the rest of the world with a few contents varying regionally.

Clear as mud.

Got it! Ships 3/17 for 3/21 delivery.

And, I got a $30 discount! That's $18 delivered for this one, which beats the heck out of $140 or so to Ubi.uk, even if I don't get a pen or tin box.

Yes, you received a good deal, though the Deluxe Edition features a lot more than just the pen and tin box (not to confuse others).

The DE version has some nice gadgets but the only reason I want it is the 60min documentary (which you lucky bastards get for 'free':p).

The only thing I really wish we could get from the DE version is that 116-page "deluxe" version of the recognition manual (incl. 20 additional pages). The rest of the DE extra contents I could do without.

I would have pre-ordered through Amazon so Subsim could benefit, but I prefer the DVD version.

At least, when you click pre-order it says Windows CD-ROM.
