Neal.

Has always been that way. Includeing registration.

TaskForce brought up the idea of being Accepted with the impression of someone or one's other than just Neal.

I would like that explained more in detail.

have a group of people who go through the regestration request, maby even a Cap per day to keep the load off. Would help with these spammers/trolls, because you would have to give a reason why, and agree you will not troll (even tho that wont stop them)

But it will get rid of the Computerised ones.

Well maybe Neal and the mods? Does it matter as it's probably not going to happen anyway?

Currently you dont need to be accepted by anyone when you register. You just get the activation email you have to check.

Ok, here's what TF means:

- New member fills out the registration form and submits it
- The form then is send to the admin, in this case Neal.
- Neal reviews it and chooses if the new member is ok to be fully registered
- New member gets an email saying "You're account has been activated, you can now login"

Clear enough? :DL

Task Force 05-20-10 05:09 PM

Yep, exactly what dowly said.

Actually I don't think that Dowly was at all rude - TF floated an idea (probably pie in the sky) to deal with posters like the OP (although if I'm honest I haven't had as much fun in ages as I have in this thread) and suddenly you're asking for specifics?
