Awesome Catfish but then again, you have good taste in music. I think we all put good music on the car stereo and just drive. :yep: The Alman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd have always been favorites. What amazes me is the guys in these bands were 22 or so, boys really. Yet, these young guys had such a refined sense of music structure and compositions. Guitarist Duane Alman was ahead of his time and like many great musicians and guitarists, Duane passed away much too soon. Here's something fun for you, Catfish. Lynyrd Skynyrd- Gimme three steps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82VnutYBh9k |

^ Al pitrelli is a great Guitarist. Al is the lead Guitarist and musical director of the group / band, Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Al cites Jeff Beck as a guiding influence and has said, " When Jeff plays, I don't even want to pick up a guitar anymore." Such is the respect that Jeff also garnered as a Guitar player.
This may well be a forgotten cover performance by Jeff Beck. Jeff is seen in this video playing Apache made famous by the equally famous " surf " band, the Ventures. Jeff also covers Sleepwalk by Santo and Johnny. Interestingly enough, Santo and Johnny had used a lap Steel guitar to get the unique sounds they did. Jeff does it with a six string Stratocaster and a hefty dose of reverb on the amp. https://youtu.be/wlyunWX6Y9s |
