Yea so I have my very old design its sverige Class coastal defence sweden ship But i doesnt know how to make it add to the game with 3ditor right ?
:Kaleun_Thumbs_Up: |
Ok, very good.
Did you manage to import model parts and textures into dat file? |
still has no idea to convert that because as i know i must separate the turrets and other as i know
|
Yep, first of all you need an *.obj file for every part of the ship, in order to import them.
You'll need separated parts for main hull and superstructures, rudder, propellers, masts, funnels, lifeboats, etc, plus guns if you'll not use standard library files. Open another ship with 3Ditor in order to see the parts you'll need  Let me know when ready for next step! Best regards, Vd |
how to add node with 3d because im try to add its not going into the node file

Next step, right click on the node, and point "append new child chunk"; a menu will appear, left click on "3D Model (1\101)" Now the "3D model container" will appear under the node. Select it, and on the right you'll find the "import" command, who will allow you to import your *.obj file. From the import menu, after you're allowed to choose the file, i suggest you to select "Optimize texture coordinates", "collapse subobjects in a single mesh", "use materials", "load .OBJ files", and the name of your obj. Sometimes "import vertex normals" could be usefull for a better render of the model, but not always. Try this with experiments. |
sorry mybe like the next few days I can't be active because I'm in the hospital and have typhus idk why mybe because i exhausted doesnt sleep like 2 day for doing the coding
but mybe you can make the tutorial in youtube i will be i really appreciate it :Kaleun_Salute: |

Relax, restore and take your time! I'll wait here  No need to run, no need to delete your sleeping time. If you release a mod in 6 days, is good. If you release a mod in 6 months, it's good too! In my opinion, create mod is, first of all, a fun, chill and relax question. We have a lot of tasks and duty to do in the life, after all. I'm not good in youtube at all, but let's meet here :yeah: Best regards, Vd |
Im back Now I think its better if i make Bretagne Battleship already make the 3d models

Nice model. I can suggest you those parts: - Main hull with superstructures, without details - Details - Portholes if 3d modeled - Funnel 1 - Funnel 2 - Crane 1 - Crane 2 - First mast - Second mast - Rudder - Propeller (you just need one if they're all identical) - One model for every type of boat - One model for every type of turret \ gun with only rotating parts - One model for every type of turret \ gun with barrles \ elevating parts Textures just need to be converted in *.tga format, i guess. Best regards, Vd |
