It's no secret that I am a fan of " Guitar Slingers." I like them a lot as they have an ability most of us, myself included, will never have. We are very fortunate as in the last decades(s), many Guitar players, some as young as 4-5 years of age have stepped forward with incredible abilities.

Some of my favorite Guitar players have included David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, Brian May of Queen, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Steve morse of Deep Purple, Al Pitrelli of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, the late, great Stevie Ray Vaughan, Ry Cooder and Howard Lees of Heart and now with Bad Company. Eric Johnson is also an incredible Guitarist using Flawless Octave and Legato playing. Modern players like George Benson also utilize octaves in their Guitar playing.

That leaves Jack Thammarat. Well, who is Jack Thammarat, you ask.

Jack is a guitarist from Thailand. I became aware of Jack many years ago, thanks to YouTube. Great guitar players are coming from France, China, Russia and Germany to name a few. No longer is it just England or the U.S that fields great guitarists.

This is Jack performing the Guitar solo from the Eric Johnson song from the Lp, Venus Isle- Lonely in the night. Jack is using a what appears to be a Yamaha copy of a Gibson ES-335. Jack's interpretation of this piece is flawless, relative to the original. I also included Eric Johnson's original version of lonely in the Night. I hope everyone enjoys it. Have a great weekend, everyone. :)

I'm no Muso so I can't really comment on this, other than to say I like Chris Spedding from when he worked with the Pistols in the late 70s. And I gather he's rather good.
