I really love the kill flag mod and its time for a new career in game but before i join this mod just a question:

What shall i do when i am offered a new boat ? That means: Will my so far prosperities taken to the new boat or is it better to keep the first chosen sub? :hmm: (What was historical correct ?)

Normally i start my careers with the Narwhal class but i dont want to take such sub for the whole campaign. Then i would pick another sub. :smug::smug:

Hey, kwbgjh2. Those are some good questions. As we implement the mod, the kill flags would stay with your old boat and you'd start with a clean flag and boat, but you can keep your tonnage on the flag.

As far as what is historically correct, I'm not positive, but I don't think skippers were offered boats, I believe they were issued orders. It's totally up to you whether to take a new boat or not, but passing up a newer boat would mean staying with older technology and capabilities, so you'd be passing up opportunities for more kills.
