Amid a bitter election-year debate over illegal immigration, FBI Director Chris Wray told a Senate panel on Monday that dangerous individuals have entered the United States illegally at the southern border.

"We have had dangerous individuals entering the United States have a variety of sources," Wray said at the annual "Worldwide Threats" congressional hearings at which the heads of U.S. intelligence agencies testify.

"We are seeing a wide array of very dangerous threats that emanate from the border, " he said, citing drug trafficking in particular. "The FBI alone seized enough fentanyl in the last two years to kill 270 million people," he said.

"There is a particular network that has -- some of the overseas facilitators of the smuggling network have -- ISIS ties that we're very concerned about, and we've been spending enormous amount of effort with our partners investigating," Wray said.

Overall, he said, threats from various groups have reached a "whole other level."

Interesting article and The Common Wealth Fund seems to be a credible source . But I’ve never experienced any of the problems reported in that article.

I believe it. Since the ACA(Obamacare) was put on the books getting an appointment to see a doctor will be scheduled out a few months or more. There are less and less primary care doctors because they are not getting paid for services or much less under the ACA. They move on to a specialty. Specialists are getting paid for procedures at a level that they should but these specialists are few and far between. We are seeing more nurse practitioners then actual doctors these days. Patients have grown exponentially under the ACA.

Added to the ills of the medical systems here in the USA is the additional millions of illegals that are provided medical care. Now, I'm not saying they should not get care. They should! The problem is the medical system can not handle the huge influx of illegals. Que Springfield OH.

Harris is a big fan of universal healthcare. Single payer system. No private insurance. She has been like this for decades. But she changed her tune in the last 6 weeks(lies). If she wins, you can bet on a single payer system and a worsening of the medical system in the US.

I'm not negative about Obamacare, it is by and large the cause for a stressed medical system. There was a time I could scheduled an appointment to see the primary care doctor and get set up in a week. Now it is 5-6 weeks out. The emergency rooms are backed daily. Friend went to the ER. She spend 8 hours there waiting to be seen. My urologist is on a tight schedule. I get 15 minutes to discuss my diagnosis of prostate cancer. I'm given 3 options. What do you want? Ok, good pick. Next. Out the door I go.

You see, Obamacare put millions on the healthcare plan. Did Obamacare put any additional doctors, nurses, hospitals and immediate care to accommodate these new patients? No, no it didn't.

It would mean a lot if the government increased the number of Doctors and Nurses before increasing the number of patient. So I understand why your medical care is very stressed.

And there you have it. Obamacare has done nothing but raise the cost of healthcare while simultaneously lowering it's quality. Our companies group insurance plans have gone up 20% or more in cost every year since it was enacted with no end in sight. Deductibles are also 10 times higher than what they used to be. I used to complain that my healthcare plan had a $500 annual deductible, now it's $5 grand plus and I better hope I don't get a hospital stay that lasts more than a couple of weeks or i'll be paying the whole tab.

And I always thought that our orange saviour got rid of Obamacare

Do you prefer the election system as it is today in USA, where you have to register in able to vote ?

Or would you prefer a election system, where the voters are automatically registered, where you can decide whether you will vote or not ?
