If they never did the 3rd season of Enterprise then it might have went a full run. The Xindi story arc killed it. You watch a prequel to see how something started. Enterprise started with meeting the Vulcans, Andorians, Orions, Tellarites and Romulans, then they switch to some aliens we have never seen before and keeps them the focus for 20+ episodes; that's just horrible. :nope:

Probably the same anomaly that changes the size of the Delta Flyer every episode...
The Temporal Cold War was what killed it, I fully agree, when they ditched the Xindi and brought in the Romulans then things got better (and I'm not just saying that as a Romulan fan :O:) and judging by the comments made by Manny Coto, the fifth season would have improved on that, although I cringe (see what I did there?) at the thought of another Borg episode...but IIRC they pulled in the Reeves-Stevens in season four and took the pen away from Brannon and Braga except for the finale, and it shows, which is a shame because they started so well, 'Frame of Mind' was a great episode, but when you look at DS9, where Brannon and Braga left the writing to others, and then to Voyager when Braga did a lot of episode writing...including the infamous 'Threshold', and nerfed the Borg.
They had their moments, but overall, Enterprise improved when they stopped writing for it.
