To be honest Markus, Harris is in bed with ABC. Particularly Muir the moderator. It was darn close to 3 against 1. Trump. Harris landed her answer like an airplane and under 60 seconds. IMO, she knew what questions were coming.

And to add, when the hell are they going to stop with Jan 6th? Moderators asked about again and again. Yet, did not say word on Harris DA track record and other nonsense while in CA. She was not asked why now is she wanting to FIX things when she had 4 years to do so. And WHY are you not taking responsibilities for the past 4 years.

Trump had many chances to answer back some of the crap Harris was spewing. But as usual, Trump went off the rails on eating dogs and cats.

Yeah, the dogs and cats were totally unnecessary and weird :)

Well, to his credit there has been some residence from the town on the local news stating the Haitians are running into buildings and flipping cars. Getting the ducks in the park and eating them. They are sucking up resources. It is not a pretty picture according to the residence. The news will tell you otherwise of course

Quickest way to stop that is to simply do what we in the UK do....put em up in 5 star hotels :)

That is another issue that Trump mentioned. Many homeless here yet immigrants are living in hotels, given credit cards for food and healthcare.

Well if that is in fact what's happening I certainly agree with him there.

It is happening. NYC is the first example. In fact it has gotten overrun and the mayor is screaming uncle. They can't afford this, but the federal govt will bail them out with tax dollars.

For the record, here’s the debate transcript to judge for yourself if the questions were fair and the answers coherent. Leave the talking head opining that substitutes for news out of it.

IMO Harris answers were landed like a plane and in 60 seconds. That is suspect in itself. Muir is her buddy anyway. But that aside, Trump blew the debate all by himself. For that he should be proud.

I know one person who'd disagree with you even though his math are incorrect :)

Elections do have consequences.

Jimbuna 09-11-24 09:17 AM

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are at the same 9/11 memorial the morning after a fiery debate - their first of the 2024 US presidential election.

They debated policy but personal attacks also dominated the 90 minute event.

Harris said people leave Trump rallies early "out of exhaustion and boredom" - he said people don't go to hers in the first place.

Trump criticised Harris's record on immigration and the border, and also her shifting policy positions - Harris blamed him for "Trump abortion bans" and the 6 January attacks on the US Capitol.

Snap polls suggest Harris won the debate, but Trump says afterwards that she "lost very badly"

The former president appeared on the defensive when he called into Fox News the next morning, criticising the moderators and refusing to commit to another debate.

With the election taking place on 5 November, Harris is slightly ahead in national opinion polls - but key battleground states are very tight.
