I'm not surprised. Six 11" guns vs four 6" guns. Even shooting only one turret, your 5.9" secondaries are more than a match for him.

Be off Uruguay in December '39. The ships aren't necessarily better, but, as German fighter pilots used to say, "Too many hounds are the death of the wolf."

Hi VONHARRIS,

Thanks. The last one is a converted "Fishing Trawler" from SH4. Trainer1942 aka Nautilus did this job. I'm not absolutly sure, but you can find this converted ship here: ftp://hartmuthaas.no-ip.org/Volume_2...42_NAUTILUS42/

Click on the "Fishing_Trawler.rar". But before, remember the "username" and "password" to enter Maik's FTP-server:
- Maik
- Woelfe

Hope that this will help.

Reminded me of the Jervis Bay.

U-64 intercepted and sank this guy in the middle of the night.

Next day intercepted an American freighter.

As he was departing he passed another, smaller freighter heading the opposite direction.

He was British. We sank him with gunfire and signalled the American to pick up the crew.

Quite the story that...

A suicidal charge to give the convoy time to scatter... The Captain goes down with his ship... Decorated posthumously... :salute:

Yeah, those were the days when the RN were still the most powerful navy in the world and as befitting an age old British naval tradition....engage the enemy on sight!!

Straying even further from topic, I know, but I just gave the War Ships mod a go last night and those lone ASW Trawlers invariably engage my pocket battleship with their 4"?

You've got to admire that level of bravery... :salute:
