Posted this before, but it was a shortened version; this is the whole 'thing'.
I don't even know if you could call this music. This drummer is .. well, listen.

Great cover version of this classic song.

Hearing it again I'm getting flashbacks from when the Mentals and the Divinyls used to play at the San Miguel at Cammeray and all around the Northern Beaches. Gettin' old - official.

One thing about getting old, you now appreciate the stuff you didn't like when you were younger.

A pertinent Youtube comment.....

"Nothing sadder than sitting in an empty pub in the 1980s thinking about Life, and then the jukebox plays this song."

I was watching a recent YT posting on Hendrix and it mentioned that Jimi had stated a certain San Francisco band was his favorite; the band was The Ace Of Cups, an all-female band, arguably one of the very first all-female rock bands ever; I recall seeing them back in, IIRC, 1968 in San Francisco at some block party (SF block parties were awesome then; the first time I ever heard of Santana was his band's name at the bottom of the bill on a flyer for a Mission District block party); I had completely forgotten about the AOCs over the years/decades, but seeing the YT posting mention made me look them up; at least four of the five members are still around and, apparently, they have done something they were unable to due back in the 60s: record a studio album; now in their 70's, they still play their instruments and still have really good, strong voices...

...and this is their official video for their first studio single (The Jefferson Airplane's Jack Cassady is on Bass in the studio version)...
