I guess this goes under the heading of slightly unusual. I call it, Grandma plays drums and heavy metal. I'm a big fan of anyone no matter their age picking up a musical instrument and playing. She isn't flashy, just plays a consistent beat making things easier for the bassists. I also like her open hand approach to holding her sticks.
