Hi to all the SUBSIM people. My name is Mark and I live in Chicago. I have been floating around the forums here for awhile reading many great game mod's and ideas. I have been playing the SH series since the original Silent Hunter came out and its a great series. Finally I just want to give a big shout out and thanks to all the great modder's for the time and effort they have put into the SH series to make the sub sim's what they are today.

Hi,
I am new on this forum.
Thanks for all the help and the mods I will find here.

I play Silent Hunter from the first one (1996), and my favourite one is SH3.
I play SH5 now, but it's full of bugs (did someone see the gun crew shooting the gun from 20 meters deep in the water? I did! :har: I have some screenshots on my steam account :D)

I really love the SH series, but SH5 gave me a real disappointment, I bought it for 55€, and after a few times i played, I regret i spent such money.

A good hunt to everybody.

Welcome to SH5 Dr. Jones.

Try this link to the well done list of hints and MODs for new SH5 users. It should go a long way toward making the sim much more appealing and easy to use as well as greatly improving it's realism.
