I would suggest you have a look at my tutorials as suggested by Harm.
LSH3-2015 is different to GWX as your game is controlled to some extent by the test flotilla Eprobungstelle.
Unlike GWX things have to be done in a certain way.

Three questions on LSH III
 

I have installed LSH into my SH3 game and I have also created a second version within the game as instructed by LSH install.

My questions are:

1. Is there any difference between the main LSH/SH3 install and the second install that was created?

Do I install LSH in both versions with JSGME? I did.

Do you always start both versions with the SH3 Commander exe?

Is there a command to stop the boat from rocking? It affects my vertigo.

I still have a lot of reading to do.

There is no difference between the two versions. But it makes sense to use several installations, one like Theberbester said for the career, the other for singlemissions for example

You will get two Copys from SH3. LSH will not work until you enable it via JSGME. Otherwise you have only one basic version

Yes you do. You use JSGME to activate the mods. You can use different Mods for each of your copys.

You can start the versions via the SH3Commander, but you need a separate one for each.

LSH V15 Best two facilities
 

Hello to all When installing LSH gives you the option to put the same game twice. The two facilities are the same but one is only for the race and the other is for the missions only. You should not use a game installation for both. I think it can be so that it works better and the load times of the game are not very long. Personally I do not mind having twice the game nor the GB that occupy me because for my LSH V15 is the best.

loading saved game issue
 

hey everyone. have a problem loading save game after sinking ships in my patrol. beginning my patrol before war breaks out with poland going to grid AO83 and saving during that patrol and when loading that save game is no problem. When after war is declared on poland and i start my patrol and sink polish ships and save my progress. i quit for the day and on returning the next day to continue my patrol, i can not load my save game. I try loading previous saves of that same patrol and no go. Although before sinking ships of that same patrol i can load with no problem. Any ideas why?

I think it would be a good idea for you to run through my tutorials.
I do not think this is a compatibility issue although I have entered some dialogue below for you to look at.

LSH3 and SH3 in general do not like Windows 10 so you should run your game in Windows 7 compatibility mode.
It is also important to run your applications (.exe) as administrators.
If your system has recently updated to Windows 10 Creator version 1703 you also might need to tick the box to 'Override High DPI scaling,' this also can be found by opening the compatibility tab.

I think your problem is something you have either done, or not done that is the issue here.
When starting LSH3-2015 for the first time, Naval Academy, and then the Eprobungstelle test mission, and then transferring it has a set set of procedures that must be carried out in the right order, something you do not find with other SH3 variants.

With Windows 7 you should not need to run in a compatibility mode, just make sure you have enabled administrators as this makes a big difference to your access rights.

You could try to run the game in XP Mode if you still face the problem.
Another thing is not so save games near to konvois, or sunk ships or dived.
