I'm all for the patch!

I agree with the rest. Absolutely great game and a solid effort on the first two patches. But we really need one more to put this in the "classic we'll be playing for years" and more importantly the "highly supported game so I have full confidence in the next one" category.

Come on Ubi; the finish line is in sight. Don't give up now!!! :up:

One more vote for the patch!

I love the game, dearly, and play it often. However, it's still a bit far from delivering what it should. Patch 1.2 was good, but it left many important bugs out.

I support Neal's statement.

Myself, what I would dearly love to see is at least a responce from ubisoft that
A) Yes a patch is in the works
B) but it may take some time to release it as we are hard at work looking to fix all the issues that have been brought to our attention by all the sub simmers and loyal customers of our products.
Saying that we are at work designing a patch that will be the only patch that you good people will need so with that being said give us the time to do it right...




NOW.. If that was the answer they would give us we could find other things to piss and moan about... Like the girl friend not putting oput and other less important items.. But at least let the public know that you are doing something about the issues... Thats all

Will the 1.3 patch fix the "cannot connect the internet" message without me having to change port settings?

I agree with all...continued patches are needeed. I have special problem with in career mode not being able to finish an assignment after sailing all around for hours within the area starred as my objective. Also the antiaircraft gun in the Gato seems like I am sitting in a bucket and my arc is stopped by hitting the sub center.
Also why can't I use the torpedo cam in the career part of the game??:nope:

Don't abandon this great series, with work this could be the greatest sub sim ever. Patch the game!

It would be a great great pity if this longlasting series would go down.
I'm with the Silent Hunter series from the first days and I think SH4 needs a 1.3 patch to make it the state of the art subsim it could be and should be.

There are so many things that modders CAN do
and things modders CAN'T do.

I'm hoping a patch can correct a lot of the things the modders CAN'T fix.
