My question is, does W_clear STILL respect the localization of these palette and even the colors which suggest the name of the file. Maybe not, because, as I said, his map ClimateZones.tga (this is what determine where are used the palettes), define "Polar" color in the British channel and more to the West in the Atlantic Ocean.

The main tweaking work of W_clear consisted to modify all these palette files and the ClimateZones.tga. It is perfectly possible that "Polar" palette do not really reflect anymore polar region and if it is the case, maybe W_clear just changed everything, but NOT the name of the files, because he CANNOT CHANGE THEM, otherwise the mod can't work.

Does anyone know that or W_clear, do-you understand and can-you tell me ?

ACS

PS:
By the way, Antar, your picture to illustrate the way it is supposed to work is really nice !!!

I can do to respect the reality of climate,However, but must be increased some file to finish it.

As the Arctic or Antarctic Patrol few opportunities,So I think that there is no need to complete the reality of climate.

W_clear, look at the picture of Antar just before and tell me:

Does your "EnvColors_xxx" color palettes files REALLY represent the colors of the regions which are mentionned for them on this picture ?

This is an important information to know, to eventually use your wonderful colors palettes with another "ClimateZones.tga" map file (They are several other maps around, with a more complete & detailled design).

You missunderstood me.

I didn't asked if your colors are exactly like the real world, I just asked if they still represent the region of their names (Polar, Temperate, Tropical, etc...). In other words, you may have changed the way this color system work, but kept the name of files, because of the way mod's work (replacing existing files).

So again, in your spirit, are your color palettes STILL made for the region of their names, or you changed the system and just kept names to make the moding easier ?

You can see Environment\data\Env\ClimateZones.cfg

I agree, the foam on both sides of the U-Boot are now grey colour and need to match the colour of the whiter bow wake

Why "bow wake" only? And why "whiter"?
The color depends from weather conditions and time (white foam at dark night?)

Different colors of bow wake in different weather conditions (tested with W_clear's Env 4.1 version and historical missions):
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...&postcount=197

Types of splashes need to be re-worked:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...&postcount=203

Second issue is s the phosphorescence effect - from wikipedia (non-english source):
Because of the wake the steam torpedoes were quickly withdrawn from use at night on the waters of high phosphorescence, for example on the Mediterranean Sea.

Phosphorenscence effect (long-time exposure):

Yes of course , the bow wake and side foam colours need to change depending from weather condition and day/night time, but I dont know if the modders knowledge of SH5 code/files permit/allow to do that colour change effect

It is possible, see links in my last post. This is this same mod with different weather conditions and you can see the different colors of bow splashes for different conditions. The important thing is that developers (?) match the foam color to current weather/time conditions and it looks correctly.
Now the question is: how to match the splash color to foam color.

This won't tell me if your palettes still represent colors of the region of their names. You may have builded something totally different with all these configuration files.

Is-it so complicate to understand this question (even if your mother language is Chinese) and just answer either: yes they do or not they don't !!!

Ohhh, maybe it is a secret !!! :DL

developers match the foam color to current weather/time conditions and it looks correctly.--------------------->I agree. The problem now is I need to know how it affects the color of the bubble,This requires a lot of tests。

W_clear 12-05-10 09:06 PM

The foam into a more white successful。But only the bow splash,Wake-up bubble has not yet resolved。

I just asked to you if your "EnvColors_XXX" files still represent, in your mind, the colors for the region of their names: EnvColors_Tropical.cfg, EnvColors_Temperate_A.cfg, like it is represented here after:

http://www.acsoft.ch/tmp/envcol1.jpg

I expected a very simple answer: YES or NO. Not an answer that you never be a sailor, or to look into a file which obviously don't solve the question.

I mean, if you tweak these colors, I suppose you know what you do !!!

In case your answer will be "YES", here is a complementary question:

http://www.acsoft.ch/tmp/envcol2.jpg

Thanks in forward for your answers.
