True, but it's a case of Tetris, I mean you've got several large bombers in there, so you've got to put them where you can.

There is no "Frontwards" or "backwards" with a flag. When a flag is drawn it is customary to put the field on the left. That said, it's common practice when painted on vehicles of any type that the flag is shown with the field toward the front, as if it were seen streaming to the rear. On the other side of the plane I'm sure the flags are "frontwards".

So no ":down:" at all.
