I have been a member of this great fourm for a while, and what i don't like is poeple
talking out there ass EVEN IF they know what there talking about, Every body has there strong points and there weak points, And no where that i can find dose it say to treat new people or even old for that matter like you do,..I will give you this... Your clever" You know just what to say With out getting on the nerves of the mods.. But that don't make it right,...Dude take it easy on the noobs, show them that you know what your talking about with out making them wish theyed never found this web-site,.. As smart as you may be.. it don't make a hill of beans if noone wants to here you.

you must change the spelling for it to work :up:

Those shouldn't matter - they can say almost anything you want ....

The main thing is you got it to work.

well i was amazed as well that a simple typo was that critical but that was what was causing the CTD

i made the spelling correction and nothing else and CTD stopped and all works as it should.

EDIT: it turns out i had a corrupted file causing my issues and thats all it was. :oops:

we had the same typo on the IJN snorkel, it says rising snorkel instead of raising..

anyway if anyone wants a fixed jsgme download version that works i uploaded one to my filefront

I made it say, "Hard Boiled Egg" instead of Raising (Rising) but you get the point:

(I happened to be eating a hard boiled egg) The game or Menu.txt doesn't care what it says - with a few exceptions.

Anvart's 1.4 sim works with 1.5 but you must edit the changes into the 1.5 commands cfg - and also menu txt as described above.

As I said this is Anvart's outstanding mod not mine.

There is a toggle switch command Toggle_snorkel that can be added to a button on the radar tab. the easiest way i know to do this is to use jimimadrid's Menumaker. I did and it works fine.

Warning: If the mod does not work take a look and see if the mast is out of the water with the external cam. You might have to adjust the " SnorkelDepth= (number in meters)" in the sub's NSS_(Your Sub's Class).cfg file to get the antenna out of water using a button. The button always takes the sub to the exact number in that file every time, if it takes the sub deeper than the mast can rise, the radar will not work:DL

raise and rise in this case are synonymous ... and as in stock ...

he moved it to subsim downloads clay, try the new search tool to search for downloads by modders names
