Rubini:
I am using HT 1.47 with RUb 1.45 and while on patrol in April 1940 (right after Norway is over-run), I got the message that Trondheim was available as a sub base. Since I was in the area and needed to replenish my "fish" and refuel (IIA), I cruised on over to Trondheim and noticed that it already had "subpens" in it's harbour.

Should Trondheim have subpens in 1940 or should they be there later in the war ???

Have fun on your vacation, thanks for your great mod and am looking forward to your IUB 1.03 too.

I'm guessing Rubini didn't have time to fix all of the harbors yet...

Great Job as always Rubini. Just finished up something else and after a few weeks of screwing around I'm finally able to actually play a fresh campaign. I enabled the newest HT the other night. Works great so far.

Thanks to use it Steve!

Rubini.

Okay, I misunderstood. You moved the starting position from the pens to the dock, which is great. I thought you actually redid the harbor so the pens were gone altogether. Now I get it, and now we're on the same page I can stop being frustrated.

Thanks again for a great mod.

Rubini, I 've gotten HT 1.47 standalone from Terrapin's site and Rapidshare... but have a problem. When I open the zip file I see Airpower_1.4c HT.7c and HT_1.47.7c. Clicking on the 1.47.7c file and mssg that it "no longer exists or has been moved" comes up. There is however a bunch of files in Airpower and it's JSGME compatable. Is Airpower the one to install only or has HT 1.47 truely disappeared? Or should I leave HT_1.46 in and add the Airpower files?

Thansk for your great work mate. If 1.47 is that much more than 1.46 you've out done yourself. ;)

(Speaking as the temporary HT overseer)

It looks like your downloaded files might have been corrupted. Try to download it again and see if the problem still exists.

Marhkimov:
Since you are the temporary HT overseer, does this mean that your upcoming "special surprise" is associated with HT 1.48 ???? :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

GT182 01-04-06 08:45 AM

Marhkimov, yes it still happens. I've downloaded HT_1.47 4 times now from U-boat.Realsim and RapidShare, and everytime is the same..... no file found for 1.47 but Airpower is there. As a test I downloaded other mods from both of the sites and all were ok.

GT182 01-04-06 09:52 AM

Marhkimov, I just found the problem. Boy do I feel dumb. :damn:

There are two zip files in the download. I finally realised I had to extract the HT_1.47 to the desktop inorder to get it to work. All is fine now.

Now just to ask, what does Airpower mod do? Is that just for the aircraft changes only and the bases they come out of?

Syxx_Killer 01-04-06 10:42 AM

I finally downloaded the new version last weekend. I really like it. When I first played it, I was puzzled as to why I was still starting in a subpen at Kiel. Then I tried a new campaign from La Spezia to see what that looked like. It was dark so I couldn't see from the bridge. I tried to move forward and hear breaking glass and the like. I was thinking, "What the heck?!" I had started in the middle of the concrete pier. Turns out I forgot to put the LND file in the campaign folder. :88)

Anyway, I was wondering, is it possible to have the new countried added to the recognition manual and the flags, but have the old brightness? I don't think I like the dark manual even in the day.

Also, what changes the color of the data readout from white to green? I think I preferred white before (eg Speed, compass, rudder).

On another note, why is the Soldati DD listed for the Germans? I noticed it while browsing the museum. Is that accurate?

GT182 01-04-06 12:52 PM

Got it installed. Now it's nice that shipping isn't running aground and blowing up as it was in 1.46. Also great to see the 109 fighter/bombers not circling at the harbor entrance bombing nothing with an endless supply of bombs. LOL And last, traffic isn't as abundant as it was in 1.46. I can actually get out of Lorient without running into other ships. ;)

Great work!

Hi Mates!

Another quick and fast escape to a PC near a transit hotel. And my wife are thinking that I'm going to buy coca cola...hehe!

GT182,
Thanks to use it and Enjoy!

Syxx_Killer,
How are you? Nice to meet you again!
The Soldatis are now also in the german folder because they get some Sodatis from Italy after their capitulation to serve on Mediterranean duties
These dark skins for the recognition manual were made with IrfanView. So just open them on it and raise their brightness.

Sailor Steve,
I don't change Kiel harbour shape because Kiel had subpens after the mid war. So is not possible to have 2 harbours shapes in the same LND layer...
I only change the shape for La Spezia.

Panama Red,
I only change the harbour shapes or start position for the default starting bases. By the way, if I'm not wrong, Trondheim had subpens after mid war.

Marhkimov,
Thanks for the support!

See you later mates (after jan 26 or in fast and stealth connections... )

Rubini.

PS: Hemisent, The best beta tester on the world, thanks to use it again!

Well, you'll just have to wait for a public announcement, won't you? ;) :D :D :D

GT182 01-04-06 06:06 PM

I guess I spoke too soon Rubini..... ran into only 2 other ships with 1.47 out of Lorient in open water. LOL I've got to learn to keep a closer eye on the lads. Getting out of port is better now but the open sea within 100 kms can be hazzardous to your boats health. ;) That and TS at 512 is murder. Now only speeding up time to 128 for awhile when out of the channel, until I'm well clear and way out in open water. TS at more than 2 is a thing of the past with traffic in any harbor, but at least it's great to watch the traffic around you.

For those new to SHIII and in a big hurry to leave port at a higher time skip like we did in the old days, before these great mods....... don't install them. You won't survive or be happy, but will be restarting a career/patrol many times. They are not for those that get frustrated. ;) But remember this, you sure will be missing out on some great scenery and action we never had before.

MirabelleBenou 01-05-06 03:52 AM

Hi there !

Can you tell me if it's safe to use with IuB 1.02 ?

Thanks :)
