Exhibit A:
I'm helping to build an antenna for a Ham radio operator I'm working with when and I need a u-bolt. I say to him "Where's a u-boat?...whoops I mean u-boot...DOH!...I mean U-bolt!!" Exhibit B: Something is really taking my time and i'm awful tempted to push an (imaginary) time compression button to speed it up. Exhibit C: A message comes in through the submarine's radio with the usual morse code, then I reach over to the morse code oscillator that's sitting on my desk and I turn the volume up...:timeout: |
What is this "playing too much SHIII" of which you speak?
(Just back on patrol for only the second time since July.) |
When you flood the laundry by accident and start yelling for damage control, flooding pumps & emergency surface.....happened today:D

When the missus asks you to do something and you shout
"Yawohl frau Kaleun" |
you can never play too much SH3
every morning i check on this forum and then uboat.net to see what happened this day "once a long time ago" this is the only game i play |
Your driving in traffic and think if I wasn't in this type II I would have enough torps to finnish this guy.
--------------- freudian slip on "finnish" - type II = Vesikko, the finnish prototype for the Type II bloody clever!:haha: |

... and today at class lecturer asked me something in construction class and I answered to her "Jawohl Herr Kaleun :salute: " she stared at me for 5 or 6 sec. tried to figure out what I said and why I said that (should I yelled Jawohl frau Kaleun ?!?) :88):dead::o |
If you wake up in the middle of the night in bed with soaked sheets, and your jaw hurts like hell from clenching your teeth in your sleep, because you been dreaming about being depth charged over and over and over...:dead:
|
You know you play too much SHIII when you sit at your desk screaming "I want proper reports!" after your computer shows the BSoD for the 10th time :smug:
|
Me and my classmate were walking home after school and there was airplane flying over us and i sayed. "Aircraft spotted bearing 020".

When, visiting the "Espadon" (french word for Swordfish), a French built Type XXI turned into a museum, I was steering up, at the conning tower access ladder. While I was doing that, my hand was entering a zero gyro firing solution on tube I & II... When I noticed, my eyes blinked three time and I steped away slowly.

Oh, got another good one : living in St-Nazaire, every first wednesday of the month, the bombing alarm gets to ring for a while, at noon. So one day, sitting in the ancient AA main Nest of the U-Bunker, I steered immediatly at the skies, up and then west north-west to spot allied bombers !
Spooky, on the moment... |
