Of interest, also, is the fact Pauley Perrette, who got into acting by accident, had been a criminology and forensics major in college and had been working towards a masters degree before her acting career took off...

<O>

That's pretty neat to hear about Pauley. How many actors end up in a long term role that they studied about in college or university. I'm sure it happens but must be rare.

One of my favourites also!

STEED 02-05-16 12:53 PM

Sergeant Frank Drebin
From the orginal TV Show which for me was more funny than the films that tried to hard.

I loved both the movies and the show. I agree with you the show was better. Maybe because it was short and they didn't have to put so many gags in it.

All time favourite: M*A*S*H

The serious backdrop, the satire, how they blend comedy with something serious and grim, probably the only sit-com I ever saw that makes one think.

Another favourite: The Prisoner.

James Bond on acid. It has that surrealism that totally won me over.

Then of course the first 2 Black Adder series. Monty Python's Flying Circus too although that's less of a series and more of a sketch show.
