He dose not look grumpy enough. :O:

Hartnell got the BBC mad while making Dr Who, when he fluffed his lines and back then there was no retake Hartnell would say out loud F(bleep)K which forced them to take2. :har:

I think it's a good casting choice. :yep:

They definitely look alike. I'm looking forward to this docudrama!

On another note, it looks like one story this year is going to be set on a Russian submarine. I figured that from seeing a Russian naval officer in a flooding room in the next time trailer

Some sad news folks, I was reading over the weekend the actor Bernard Horsfall has passed away. Bernard Horsfall guest starred in four Dr Who stories, first in The Mind Robber as Gulliver then as a Time Lord in The War Games both in Patrick Troughton ere as the Doctor. He would next appear in Jon Pertwee ere in the Planet of the Daleks as Taron then finally in Tom Bakers ere once again as a Time Lord in The Deadly Assassin.

He played the part of Goth who tried to kill the Doctor in the Matrix taking his orders from The Master. The cliff hanger fight scene seeing Goth trying to drown the Doctor suffered a backlash from Mary Whitehouse's clean up TV campaign for at the time was looked upon as a very violent scene.

Always sad to see someone you're familiar with go, but like many others he had a good long life, so the sadness includes some joy. Also he died more than a month ago.

I just recently watched him in a couple-of-decades old episode of Agatha Christie's Poirot. A fine actor.

[edit] A little looking revealed that he also guest-starred in The Avengers, and had roles in some big movies, among the Ghandi and Braveheart.

That's sad. He was a brilliant actor.

I know. I've got quite a collection of Target novels.

Sailor Steve 03-08-13 01:49 PM

Now that I have restorations of all the missing episodes I'm getting rid of my novels. And my videotapes. :dead:
