Reminds me of the her sister at the Ottawa aviation museum, their display is very similar.

Very nice aircraft.

I still think that POS is a rather unlucky designation though.

I dunno, after surviving as many missions as she did, I don't think you can call anything about that plane unlucky :D

The Lank shots are great Jim.. I always get the same thought when I see one. My late father was a mechanic with 428 Sqd. RCAF, stationed at Middleton St. George during the war. In June '44 their Halifaxs were replaced with Canadian built Lancasters. Thanks for the great pics. :up:

No problem and thanks...for the record, my late uncle was a flight segeant on lancasters during WWII.
