Very nice looking, sort of unusual to see any surviving period aircraft with a FAA Pacific roundel. :hmmm:

The RN might need this one back soon... :haha:

Nah, it's okay, we've nowhere to put it. :nope:

That Corsair put on an awesome show, too. I was really impressed with how much power that thing has for a WWII plane - climbed like it weighed nothing.

Two Corsairs chasing a Japanese bomber at our WW2 Weekend. :D

And yes, some of these aircraft are pure power. It must be a thrill to fly one.

Very nice! :DL

Not my video obviously, but a great summary of the flying action on the same day as I was there (shot from pretty close to where I was camped out, too)

Looked like a fantastic show and a great day George. I love going to WW2 Weekend. Just a lot of fun. The best part is the pilots/aircraft owners love to share their toys. Everyone I have spoken with is always super friendly and love to show the plane. The videos are great but do little justice to the sound these open pipe engines make. They thunder by on the deck making quite a sound! I wish I could have seen the Lancaster operate when she was at our show. She is a neat aircraft.
