Oh come on. Disparaging my area of study? Not the first time you've done it either. Look, we're never going to get any type of resolution here unless you're willing to display some honesty about your provocation. It really isn't good for you. I know that people love reading these type of threads because it makes for excellent theatre, but the nice guy in me just wishes that you'd put the hatred behind you. I mean, I even tried to engage you in the Juan Williams thread; I didn't know a thing about it, as I don't follow politics as much as you do. You always want to play fisty cuffs, though.

How can I disparage your area of study if you are proud if it? Perhaps it is You .

Or, perhaps your constant disparaging of everyone else's careers and achievements masks the insecurity you feel about your's. Perhaps that overcompensation explains your behavior in recent threads. Could it be that you feel, at this late stage of your life, somehow unfulfilled?

I might very well know better, but that does not change the fact that you are clearly overcompensating for something. There is a massive chip on your shoulder.

Is that why he's dying, you think? I'm no medic but chips on the shoulder can't be healthy? High in saturated fats for one thing.... :nope:

No the chip on the shoulder leads to a severe imbalance which means they fall and knock their heads a lot, the repeated knocks on the head lead to further imbalance which leads to spamming posts from multiple accounts on nonsense stories

EDIT: You are also awful, Tribesman. :O:

I'm doing my best Dr. Phil in trying to reform this guy into a productive SubSim member. I think I'm failing.

I'm no psychiatrist, but I do believe placing chips upon one's shoulder is not generally considered sane behavior and could possibly indicate the presence of deeper psychological problems...

I may be missing something here, but the thing about 'academic superiority' was not exactly necessary. I know if it was directed at me it would rub me the wrong way. It seemed rude on a more personal level than the way the conversation that preceded it was going.

That's how I read it anyway.

As for the bacon smell... well, has anyone lived next door to a curry house? hehe not that it would be a problem for me  Daily mail fun. But it would seem that it's not actually muslims who are complaining, but a turncoat of our very own.
Why don't they just install some ducting to take the extractor opening higher up?
As for the council and their 'retrospective planning application'... well that's a typical council response to something that could be sorted out using a little bit of common sense. Hopefully with the cutbacks some of these cretins will be removed from circulation, let them see what a dole queue is like for a change.

I remember something about the fact that you cannot keep pork for as long as beef, plus pork has other worms and parasites in the meat itself. I suppose the rationale behind not eating pork back then was because pigs eat the stuff humans throw away and in a desert country, that's gotta stink.

Not to mention odour problems over a lengthy period of time...or quite possibly pigeon or seagull problems... :hmmm:

Yes, it was not very nice, but I gave it as good as I got it. See the post above.

Which would lead to further physical imbalance and a worsening of the mental state. I never realized how horrible chips on the shoulder could be until now...
