people feel its thier right to question the rules and those who enforce them for some reason. people should pick thier battles better though, its an internet forum about submarines for christ's sake! there are no rights, only priviledges that can be taken away at any time. this is true in most areas of life.

Geez.. for a bunch of (sim) submariners who should know when to engage, disengage and when to go silent.. some sure seem to have trouble with that :rotfl2:

You isolate the one part of my whole statement and immediately assume I am directly insulting you.

Here is the part of my response to your oh so wonderful comparison of Sh5 to a "fatty, ugly, woman" (cause we all know that men are in capable of being fatty, and ugly)

It can be seen in this line that if you meet these criteria, which is in essence a very shallow person, THEN you are an idiot. If you don't understand what I mean, watch Idiocracy, and you may have a better understanding.

Give me a break..... I heard the same drivel with SH3 release, SH4, and now this.

I would forgive the Devs if the bugs in SH5 were unique to SH5. But the fact that bugs from SH3 lived through SH4 and now 5, BUGS that I will remind you have been FIXED by modders (screwed up weather, AI that was as dumb as a box of rocks , Sub on rails for example) for free without access to the source code and compiler just shows the lack of attention.

If your going to reuse code ...for CRIPES sakes dont REUSE the bugs that you have had YEARS to fix (or just ask the modders HOW they fixed it...)

But see here is the problem in your example.... Some of us paid good money for the ugly fatty thinking we were getting a slim pretty (even after getting burned over and over by Ubi...stupid me). And then the games industry has the GAUL to tell us they put these draconian DRM measures in place due to piracy... hummm. The buggy state SH5 was released in SURE does not encourage me to pay good money for another UBI game without "testing for free" first...

My ugly fatty is getting put on the shelf...either some modder makes her look like a Victoria's Secret model or I will throw her in the trash.

Yea, I may be wrong on Oscar's lack of ownership.

I recall several people dogging SH5, despite also claiming to NOT OWN the game. For some reason I thought Oscar was one of them.

I will be happy to remove my statement of him not owning it, if I am indeed wrong.

But but for him SH5 is the slim pretty. SH3 is the fatty ugly. And SH5 is indeed very pretty. Just a little brain-dead at the moment.
