Trust me, IL2 is modders nightmare. Something that works on one thing, doesnt work on the other. I just cant get the fricking contrails to work on, for example, the Spitfire. I've triple checked that every line is pointing to the right file etc. Heck, I even changed the material file for the Spits contrails to be the exact same as the 109s. There should be nothing to NOT make it work, yet there's no contrails. :damn:

The Spitfire's contrail & material file are 100% the same, there's no reason why the game wouldnt think the Spit's contrails as those of 109. :nope:
EDIT: Well, now I have the new contrails on: B109s (except the 109E and possibly F models, they use different guns) and the rest LW planes that use the same weapon, FW190, 110 etc. G.50 and the rest that uses the Italian peashooters.
