Thanks Dagon ! Btw did you make your Leninet class sub available for SH4 ? I am interrested in it since I-25 accidentally sunk L16 L16Torpedoed by Japanese submarine I25 on 11 October 1942, near the coast of Oregon while being transferred to the Soviet Northern Fleet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leninets_class_submarine Another question, after the english sub wouldn't you like to make us an italian one, a Marcello-class ? They had cuiser types operating out of Bordeaux and Penang. This type belonged to the three axis powers during the war ! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian...ine_Cappellini) http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/3...erkulovyy9.jpg http://regiamarina.net/subs/classes/...arcello_us.htm The Marcello-class was a class of submarines of the Italian Navy ("Regia Marina"). They were long-range single hull boats with internal ballast tanks and external blisters, derived directly from the Glauco-class submarine. They had a maximum operational depth of 100 metres (330 ft), and a normal fuel load of 59 tons. They were among the best Italian submarines of World War II, with good speed, strength, and manoeuvrability. Spassiba, Keltos |

Where can I get the U class? I can't D/L it from the Russian site, I get an error
"Вы не авторизованы для скачивания этого вложения." |
I want to echo Ivank's question.. does anyone have the U Class still? Links earlier in the thread are down, but the couple of screens look really nice. The Royal Navy received 6 of the American S Class boats as well. Those two boats could be the start of a RN North Sea campaign 39 - 40 or 41... just a thought...

hang on guys, ill upload mine with the camppiagn fix
if it isnt up already EDIT: its up now |
Thanks for the upload:up:
One thing though, the folder that should be named UPCCampaignData is just called New Folder.. I guess you forgot to rename after some edits. So it needs a minor tweak to be campaign playable. :D Hmm after doing that I get the option to start a career with the U Class but I get a CTD after I select the boat and click Proceed. I will have to look at the files later, just about to go out for awhile. |
hmmm, it worked fine on my pc. I had RFB and RSRDC loaded up, that may be the problem
|
Might be, with my usual mods it gave me CTD, then with a clean install. I will look through it and see about getting it working with my mix, thanks!
**edit - actually there is no .cfg in the NSS_U folder in that zip. (downloaded it twice to be sure I was not crazy) That sounds like a likely cause lol :D |
Bump !:D

DAGON's submarines etc..
now they were originally designed for SH3. so you need to clone a sub, it can even be a US clone for that matter, then export the 3d model using S3D and import it in your new sub .dat
I offered Dagon to implement them in SH4 last year but he apparently said he would do it, he hasn't yet, so I would ask him before any release of his subs. I uploaded the mods I had from Dagon here : http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=1...5965eaa7bc68bc keltos |
acutally Kelt, if you look at poul's Sounds Of Life On Submarines thread, Dagon is apparently (gods strike me down if something was lost in translation) working on a Russian Submarine Mod in the Baltic or someplace cool like that
