Yup Dean i can uderstand how you feel but for me i'm an ex submariner and not all of em were rampant nazi's to me they were brothers of the sea as many ex and serving submariners will feel every Boat crew either allied or axis lost was a sad day even 60 plus years later i'm sure they are missed by there familes.:hmm:

I hereby change my vote - im too burnt out for another SH3 career game of any shape or form. Think its time i stripped it off my HD, put the disks away, and let it collect dust on a shelf for a little while. Conversly i htink im gonna dust off that ES4: Oblivion DVD :D

U will be back and u know it one dark friday night it will jump of the shelf at ya.....:arrgh!:

I think I would also become burned out if I played SH3 non stop for a long time.
But as I play other things (mainly flight sims) and leave my sub being refitted in port between patrols (usually 1 or 2 weeks) I am always happy to jump back on board. I have been playing this game since it came out with successive mods which constantly improved it. Good games are hard to kill specially when there is a modding community. I still have Falcon 4.0 and Operation Flashpoint running - both heavily modded... |
i didnt vote im gonna be playing both tbh. i cant imagine never playing sh3 GWX again its just too good and one patrol is never the same as the last for me, it always brings a smile to my face when had a good patrol. i just hope sh4 will do the same thing. if so we will have the best of both worlds.

Exactly my point i jump back and forth between this and EVE online so i get plenty of variety:up: and with SH4 i got another toy to play with.

Think with the new GWX, I'm likely soon to give SH3 another spin.

Yeah....it should be quite some party this next time around :yep:
