Since this is the first "skipper of the month" or nomiation, i find myself looking at Sh3, from past to present, andthinking in terms of contributions that became the foundation for just about everything that followed it.

Before any Grey Wolves or NYGM mod packages there was Unified Campaign Vanilla, which, in essense was Harbor traffic 1.48 i beleive.

Obviously before that there was Harbor traffic in it's many forms, (before that was Improved convoys)

So all told, the foundation for all the campaign work, looking at the core package, if we were to trace the lineage of the core content of supermods back, to one singular source, the wellspring from which everything followed that has been here all along...

That source, is...

Gawd!!! To somehow narrow down a nomination to one person feels impossible!

Can I nominate REFBBWJSCONESRUBINIVONHELSCHINGPABLOICHNEUMONBORIS NIPPLESPANNERGIBSFUBARPANTSSTABIZ-SYXX_KILLERSAILORSTEVEIBLITZANDEVERYBODYWHOHELPEDW ITHGW???

I feel like I'd rather chop my fingers off one at a time.

Arrrgh!

If this is a once-per-month deal I'm going to need a dart-board.

Not meaning to go off in left field, but what is this Utah conference?
Will there be more of these? Hope so. I'd like to participate in one.

It was a joke. There have been meetings in London and Houston and the first one was I think in Amsterdam, but I wasn't around then.

Last summer nikimcbee came to Utah for personal reasons. We arranged by PM and e-mail to get together and ended up spending a fun afternoon eating and talking.

So the great "2006 Utah SubSim Conference" involved exactly two people!

Los Angeles was the first one ... back in 2002 ...

But another one would be great ... Vegas is close to Utah, right?
