All hail GW Dev Team, the Knights of Subsim! |
This may be due to me being color-blind but I see no values in this table other than a N/A under Submerged/Conning Tower on Page 23 Table 2: Relative fatigue accumulation factors within U-boat compartments Does anyone have these values so I can write them in? TIA |

Q) What is SH3 addiction?
A) Once an individual has tried SH3, they may be unable to predict or control the extent to which they will continue to use. SH3 is probably the most addictive game that has been devised so far. SH3 addicts must have more and more mods to sustain their high and avoid the intense "crash" or depression that follows their binges. They become physically and psychologically dependent on mods. All to often, the process of mod addiction goes something like this: The "soon to be addict" downloads their first mod. Upon installation of this mod, the users brain instantly begins the addiction process. The individual's mental and emotional being is soon to follow, but for now just their brain suffers from the initial stages of mod addiction. After the first few times using the mod, their mind slowly starts the addiction process. This grows stronger and stronger until, mentally, the mod addict believes that they cannot live without mods. They now are entangled in a full fledged mod addiction. Shortly after this occurs, mods takes complete control over their lives. Once the individual's lives have been overridden by mods, they no longer feel normal without downloading mods . When this occurs they feel the need to use more mods just to feel normal. In order to get high they have to download super mods. Their mod addiction has infiltrated all areas of their life. They can no longer function physically, emotionally, or mentally without mods. This cycle of addiction continues until the individual either quits and returns in a few months or just starts making mods. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/smar...ser_online.gif |

Wow, what a classy manual, better than most any game you will see on the Market.
I bet the SH4 crew is quaking in their boots - "Get to work on the historical parts of our manual boys" and "Did we include Operation Crimson?". You have set a new standard for excellent performance, well done GWX Team!!!! I do have one question, after reading the whole thing, and then putting my burning socks back on . . . I like to manage my crew - it says that fatigue is locked at 32x and below (from basic.cfg, if I remember) but it also says, for max enjoyment, do not use Grey Wolves 24h fatigue. If I liked the old fatigue model, does the team have any recommendations? I like to change my watches as I cross the atlantic at 128 - I know it says "season to taste" but I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to break what is obviously a finely honed machine. Of course, I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth, I will just have to cross the Atlantic at 32x, it will just be a bit harder with the wife and all . . . Anyway, all that aside, what a marvelous manual!!!! |
