I have had this crazy ideas for a long time now

I call it bid for SubSim.

Eichhörnchen paint some motive and we the other members place bid on them.

Not all of them at once but one at the time.

75 % Goes to SubSim and 25 % goes to the artist - Eichhörnchen

Great idea, Markus but it would contravene the rules of Subsim. Anyway I don't paint at all these days - I haven't done so for over a year now since retirement. I try to keep my life as simple as possible now :)

I think you do great paintings. And i thank you for posting them here.It's a shame you can't get the recognition that you dersive.Eichhörnchen you have talent that the world would like to see.

At one time my pictures were shown in an art & craft gallery in the pretty coastal town of Alford up here in Lincolnshire

I recently found a few of my old paintings on eBay; this one is only about 7x5 inches. I have to stress that I won't make a penny from showing these ads - I sold the paintings to a dealer many years ago but it's kind of nice to see them still changing hands for cash

Very nice Glynn but what does the date '1955' signify? Your age? Date of painting?, surely not.
