Regarding those air loadouts - I know G4Ms attacked, I was assuming the single engine types were just out to look for subs and radio back. Should they all have been dropping ordnance?

Most of the planes would attack, no matter the load-out. It was just a matter of if a plane was set to one 1,000 pound bomb, it would drop 3, like it was set to 3x 500 pound bombs instead. Or maybe it was set to drop bombs, and would only strafe. However, a couple of the planes did not attack at all, and just fly about, looking pretty... :roll: :salute:

The only plane that would attack me every time was the Betty. All others would fly right over me and do nothing. 500 yards me on the surface going flank and they ignore me.

FOTRSU will only play with v1.5 of SH4. It is not compatible with v1.4.

Yes. I highly recommend you buy the download version from Amazon by going through the Subsim Shop portal to Amazon. It is around $20 US, but you can redownload it should you lose the original. Once properly installed to your system it will accept the FOTRS Ultimate mod.

No, you already have Silent Hunter 4, what you need now is the "U-Boat Missions" download or DVD which you can google and find.
This installation when added to your existing one will update your game to v1.5
