Ramming attempt
 

This small merchant tried to ram me after dud torpedo attack. No 10,5 cm shells left. I will engage with the 3,7cm flak.

Near to commit, then the vessel can explode, and your boat will be damaged ... at worst

Thanks guys.....I like to have the odd late war career with a XXIII because you have to be more selective with what you target since she only carries two eels.

The 3.7 proved ineffective , so I turned and lined up a stern shot from 500m , safe distance. She went down easily.

Sextant readings from the North Star show were pretty far south, and still going....... Somewhere around EK7488

That's why FUBAR's "Schlickgrau58" is still one of the best camouflage:
