Sleepy Joe out of the fight - a bit late, but reasonable decision.

I am wondering who will replace him...

80% chance it's Harris, she's the sitting VP and if she doesn't get the nod the DNC will end up in complete disarray going into their convention.

It seems of all candidates and all Americans generally, only Trump is popular.
For Americans :D

Its ironic - the Democrats' chances have dramatically improved. Nevertheless there are reasons for doubting that they have decisively improved.

Shows only how bad they had been before Biden's retreat.

She's not, but the Clintons publicly endorsed her, so the question is, who will the DNC tap for VP. (they might try to bring RFK Jr. into it, to hang onto votes)

After 4 years of Biden/Harris, people are starting to think that maybe mean tweets weren't as bad as they thought. :yeah:

Catfish 07-21-24 03:33 PM

^ lmao
Trump''s best election helper is gone :D
8 year-long "mean tweets" of Trump's hate and bile will not stop of course. Will sure help him.

mapuc 07-21-24 03:37 PM

It's gonna be Kamela Harris as their candidate, next question would be-who is she gonna pick as her VP ?

Are the Democrats popular at all ? When you think about the societal problems the country has been dealing with in the last few years

What gets me about this is how he’s considered too mentally handicapped to stand trial. Now everyone including his own party wants him to drop out of the race because of very obvious decline in mental acuity.

Yet everyone is OK with a guy that’s only somewhat awake between the hours of 10am and 4pm remaining the president & holding launch codes to our nuclear arsenal.

The unelected bureaucrats and intelligence services in the executive branch appear to be the ones really running the show.

Makes sense now why Schumer warned Trump not to cross paths with them. He did anyways and was basically run out of town.

Trump hasn't tweeted very much in the past few years.

Obama praised Biden's decision but stopped short of declaring his support, in any way, for Harris.

Biden gave up the election race - but did not give up his seat as president for Harris.

Well... :hmmm:
