Most members of Congress keep their tax returns secret don't they?, so why should ex President Trump have his tax returns made available to the public?.

In fact I would say to make it more fairer, every senator and representative should be included as well, you should add the SCOTUS to that list as well so it doesn't become a witch hunt.
I'm sure they'd all be back pedalling faster than Usain Bolt on a motorbike if the public demanded the same from them as they're demanding from Trump. :haha:

Don't throw stones in a greenhouse. :O:

Oh I don't know if it's safe to say congress is immune. Whoever holds power gets to abuse it and abuse it they do. Remember fanatics can justify any action. Take Adam Schiff for instance hellbent to paint Trump as a law breaker. Subpoenaed phone records of private citizens in a most disgraceful breach of ethical and legal propriety.

Today the FBI have seized cellphones of certain members of congress.

FBI Seized Congressional Cellphone Records Related to Capitol Attack

The inclusion of congressional phone data in the FBI investigation raises thorny constitutional questions.

I hope those who give them a pass realize they are giving permission for it to happen to them.

You call him the nameless one but you just can't stop talking about Donald J. Trump.

You quoted that wrong. Just saying, because you make it sound like the FBI is not doing what it's supposed to be doing.

Only to annoy you August. Have you ever come across the word "Gesslerhut"? Well, maybe you know Wilhelm Tell, that guy from Switzerland who had to shoot a quarrel through an apple on his son's head. He was told to do so by Mr. Gessler, an official of the German Reich (the first one). Not going into details here but your "Good morning, Sir" came through loud and clear.

Annoy me? Hardly. I'm just amused at the thought that Trump still lives in your head rent free.

Negligent slaughter in countless cases, and trillions in public money misappropriated.

Like the EU's vaccination desaster, which I also rate as negligent slaughter in countless cases and trillions in public money misappropriated.

Those who knew what they were doing when they did wrong, I even accuse of mass murder.

Unforgivable.

Most governments get an F grade from me. They do not have to repeat the class - they have to switch to a lower school and start new. Best would be if they just drop dead.

read the article, just saying because it's article, not me, that raises the questions about motive and abuse of power.

Sorry not like that at all. I've yet to hear a Republican call Trump "The Nameless One" or introduce legislation specifically intended to drive out their political opposition but you go on thinking that as the Democrats continue to tear the nation apart with cancel culture ways.

Buddahaid 02-23-21 09:58 AM

Well I guess you just don't pay attention. The nameless one moniker is in respect to Neal's request not to mention him, not a democrat conspiracy, and you must be blind to think the GOP doesn't have him and his legacy in their heads.

My what a cute little strawman you've built for yourself there. I never said that they don't think of Trump. He is after all the leader of that party. As for what Neal may have said i'm sure he meant it in jest but regardless your side picked up the ball and ran with it. "Cept it's not going to be that easy. Trump is not going away and you can't cancel half the country without causing a civil war, but please do continue. I've come to believe that war is inevitable and we might as well get it over with.

Forget it. You're reading way too much into it.
