We were docked at Pearl, then they moved us to Dutch Harbor in Alaska to bring toilet paper to the marines...We then came back for refit and decided to head up the Mississippi to Manitowoc. We opened a casino on board coming up the river and let kids shoot the deck gun....the complete family experience...We were headed back down the Mississippi where Wolferz said we dock again, but I think he got stuck on a sandbar and too ashamed to admit it, thus his pilgrimage to the head...

Uhhhhh duhhhh. :haha: I see mu moose steak! But it got my point across.:D

As for the sand bar... the big muddy swirls, changes banks and just meanders all over the place. I figured it was just a matter of time before those waters washed us off the bar and the head was as good a place as any to wait.
Kind of like when the wife sends you out for a certain feminine product once a month and you end up buying a boat and a lot of fishing gear because while you're waiting for hell to freeze over, you might as well go fishing.:O:
That hair lipped clerk at the general store sure appreciates the business and he loves conversing with Armibby. Two liked lipped fellows I suppose.:88)

BTW, the Norden Bombsight had one major drawback...
You couldn't see through clouds with it. Today we have our own versions of the buzz bomb with no such handicap..

Oh, so flying to Alabama, we're going to take a bomb run over Sachs to drop some Christmas cheer.....Great idea....! No wonder they elected you leader...

We may need to lighten the load to carry another 600lbs of fuel, so who do we leave behind?
