Does GWX import many of the impressive features found in the NYGM mod? I love how the convoys change speed and all. Also...the AI sensors are much better.

I am imagining that GWX took the best of all mods?

I think you will find that GWX team would have created a lot of the changes from scratch.

I know Vonhelsing has been working on the damage model for well over 5 months. Let me assure you that this is no easy task with the well known limitations on the damage model, but I can also most likely 100% take a guess that this will be a vast 1000% improvement on anything done before.

I have not played the game or modded for the last 3-4 months but will install it again once this GWX is released.

I can only admire the GWX teams staying power for such a large project over such a ammount of time. I had to back out in the early days as it was in effect too much of a strain with real life issues.

And to think they do it as a freebie,

Yes, pretty much all of the mods you see in GWX have been made by the team.

After a few month leave, I have been itching to go out on patrol again. I just started reading up on this mod and I think I will wait a little longer for this to come out. It sounds awesome.
