Hi and welcome in subsim forum :ahoy:

You have part1 in different size?

Actually... if you have 3 downloads on 1 server the first 001 part is 450MB.
If you download from megaupload the fist file is 350MB and you have 4 files!

Try to download again and look further in this topic.

Furthermore, at the above website you will see 'repair' ... and QuickPar.

I'm still getting errors de-archiving the files with 7-zip, even with the Quickpar repairs. Can somebody please host a single large .rar or .zip file of the entire installation? This is getting tiresome. It's obviously working for some people and not for others: not sure why. I've tried downloading from each of the various locations, incl. the 4-part download, and the errors continue....using XP SP2.

I can only help regarding the files hosted at SHMF.
A screencap of your problem would be helpfull.
I hope you downloaded all three files from SHMF?
The par2 files are packed in a rar file and needs to be extracted in the same folder as the 7zip files. Then you need to use quickpar. It WILL repair the files, if they are missing a little bit, but only a little bit. I only created enough par2 files to repair and recreate up to 10mb. But please try this again, before deleting the files, and then make a screencap of what you see of errors. That would be helpfull. :03:

"You have part1 in different size?"
yes! is the end of part 1 but not 450MB

So... i've tested it many times, and every time was right!
I have the de_menu / en_menu of OHv.3 matched with WAC, and now i run into st.nazaire, as it should be. before, I'm just about to spawn at the black arrow.
The spawn bug should be remedied with this.

then it would be best to download the files again!

Make sure not to mix the files from the different websites. Either download all files from SHMF, or all files from Hans' mirrors, ONLY

All three files download perfectly from carotio's link but must be downloaded individually to be sure.
Still doesnt work with vista though as we know, and xp no longer available so big problem!!

Thanks for great effort and mod Han.

Hello robbythesub

Look at post #604 to #608.

If not, in Windows 7, from Professional and up, you will have for free a "virtual machine" with XP/SP3 installed in your system, for every XP based program, except antivirus and others going inside the main folders of W-7.

I hope, the upgrade from Vista will be not very expensive.

Hi NGT

I now have vista 64 with 8GB RAM- surely that should do it?

If not, will see about Win 7 upgrade

Thanks!

I am amazed. With all that stuff jammed into the harbor, I actually have better framerates. The eye candy is remarkable, every time I look somewhere different, I see something new.

ivanDurak 10-08-09 10:59 AM

so, is this xp version working on windows 7 64 bit?

Uber Gruber 10-08-09 11:43 AM

I really do reccomend everyone downloads and has a play with Wac 4.1. It is beautifully put together, a really professional job, one of the best i've seen. I don't think i've ever felt so "part of the war" (outside WaW of course).

Well done Hans, cracking work!

:yeah:
