Labour is facing growing calls to take action against an ally of Jeremy Corbyn after he was recorded criticising members of the Jewish community.
During a meeting of the ruling National Executive Committee, Peter Willsman suggested Jewish "Trump fanatics" were behind accusations of anti-Semitism in Labour ranks.
Mr Willsman also said he had never seen anti-Semitism in the party.
He has apologised and said not all his remarks were accurately reported.

Jim cancel the holiday the new credit crunch is on its way. All thanks to PM May Botch.

Why is that such a big theme with this holocaust and/or nazi stuff?
It is quite simple and honest to say that Israel does a lot of things wrong, no need to swing the nazi club.
Am i personally responsible for what happened back then ? No.
Should we remember what happened before and during WW2 in Germany? Of course.
Shall we make sure that this never happens again? Absolutely.

Shall we therefore never criticize what Israel does today, because of the past? To me it seems like a cheap accusation to discredit Labour.

The Bank of England has raised the interest rate for only the second time in a decade.

The rate has risen by a quarter of a percentage point, from 0.5% to 0.75% - the highest level since March 2009.

The move will increase the interest costs of more than three-and-a-half million residential mortgages that have variable or tracker rates.

But it will be welcomed by savers, who could see a lift in their interest rates over the coming months.

However, after the last rate rise in November, half of savings accounts did not move at all.

I don't expect to see much if any change in my saving accounts rates.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has said "people who dish out anti-Semitic poison need to understand: you do not do it in my name".

In an article for the Guardian, he said anti-Semitism was a "real problem" that Labour was "working to overcome".

But he did not give in to demands to adopt all the examples of anti-Semitism cited by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA).

Critics in the Labour Party said the article had changed nothing.
