This is REAL Art. You got real talent mate.

I went to the Art Gallery of New South Wales today ( not long reopened after long lockdown ) and was shocked by their current VERY politically correct exhibition going on.

Eisenwurst is right, big E. You have real talent.:Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:
I like your action pictures with various airplanes, but the animal pictures like your last one is among your best. I liked the pictures you did a while ago of the cats you had.

Great picture, Eichhörnchen.

This is looking phantastic, not onle real but it is able to carry over the mood of the landscape, and time.
This is done so well!

Aye, an exceptional talent Glynn.

I've also noticed your website is now restricted.

Yea I am way better at drawing pictures then I am at painting them. Plus I don't really like to color my pictures unless I have to.

You really do have an amazing talent! Keep up the good work. :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:

Thank you, guys... these were unexpected and very touching comments

The cows were photographed many years ago (I changed the colouring of the one at the front since she is, in fact, the same beast as the one following on behind!). The landscape is from my own imagination

Yes, I actually let it lapse at the end of July but I've kept the domain name just in case I ever get to reopen it

To cut a long story short, the web hosts pulled the rug from under us by moving their business onto a new platform, meaning that my site and all the others they hosted would have to rebuild from scratch (at a cost of £270 to me) in a form that could continue to be supported. I just couldn't justify this, as I'm no longer a full time painter (since my agent died a couple of years ago I've had to pack it in)

I've moved all my work onto my own "Profile Plus" page of a proxy website

That's a shame, sorry to learn of it.

I'm still getting the odd private commission; I received this message this morning from a lady who'd just unpacked my painting of her house. She told me a few minutes ago that I am welcome to share it and her comments around:

"It's arrived! And, I LOVE it, thank you so much... this is a gift to my husband and he was gobsmacked!"

I'd originally envisaged a narrower canvs so as not to have to have so much lawn along the bottom, but I could only get a size 16x20". It may have been for the best after all. Getting the three mutts in was a challenge; all from diverse photographs and taken at different angles and lighting (and she wanted them right where I've put them... so small too). People expect miracles sometimes, but I usually get by
