That's sad :dead:
But I bet that Jiimbuna, Sailor Steve or someone else will have it stored. I'll ask for it  |

In my opinion those skins were inferior to the stock skins in a lot of ways. I actually ended up blending the default SH3 skins at high contrast with photographs of ship hull plates to design my most recent merchant textures. |
I have the MFM Skin Pack which is set up to go into your SH3 Commander Date folder. Is that the one you want Hitman?

All I have now is the GWX Combined Skin Pack (164MB compressed).

are you considering releasing the deck cargo separatedly (maybe together with your new lifeboats)? That would be great! Looking forward to using the cargo  If you need a beta tester, just let me know :D Cheers, LGN1 |

I'm having final exams soon, so expect fewer updates & posts. |
Hi Iambecomelife,
I have looked at the tonnage values of some ships (MFM, GWX, stock SH3,...) and it seems in some cases the displacement value is given, in some the DWT value, in others the BRT/GRT value... Since I think the best thing would be GRT/BRT values, I tried to find out the values for some ships. Here are my results: C2: around 7000 BRT C3: around 7800 BRT T2: around 10500 BRT Liberty/Victory: around 7200 BRT I could not find any values for the T1/Patapsco Class tanker and the T3 tanker. Do you know these values? Do you know how much the BRT value of two ships with similar dimensions can differ? And finally, can one roughly scale the BRT value with the length? Any comment would be great. I wish you the best for your exams! Cheers, LGN1 |
You're asking for what the standard values should be?
In real life there were several subvariants of each type, and GRT could vary by several thousand tons. Also individual ships were rated differently by the insurance companies and varied from the 'norm'. So, for a general "what they should be" rating: C2: 6100 Actual insurance registry numbers range from 5990 to 7101 (so far). C3: 7800 Actual numbers range from 6736 to 8008. T1: 1840 These were gasoline tankers and mostly operated in the Pacific. I don't have any insurance numbers, so no actual GRTs. T2: 10,448 Actual numbers range from 8298 to 10,198 T3: 9880 Actual numbers range from 10,180 to 12,197 |
Hi Sailor Steve,
thanks a lot for the reply and the numbers. The T3 looks strange, it is so much larger than the T2 in the game :hmmm: Anyway, do you have more numbers for the other ships? Cheers, LGN1 |
