Extremely saddened but not surprised to learn of the death of Tessa Jowell today.

RIP Tessa, you were certainly one of the most sincere politicians I had the honour of meeting.

The former Conservative MP has been replaced by Caroline Jones.

He currently has a great deal of support but that would soon evaporate should a formal investigation be instigated.

Hence no formal investigation me suspects.

UKIP has no future and should fold if the right Brexit deal is done, the party's former leader in Wales has said.

MEP Nathan Gill said the party "could have been amazing" in Wales but had achieved nothing - due to internal rows.

Mr Gill, who quit the assembly after infighting, said if Brexit was done properly UKIP would be "dead".
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-44187815

UKIP died the second Nigel stepped down, even when he came back it was clear the party was over with the in fighting in their NEC. They are dead party that will not drop dead.

Ken Livingstone has said he is resigning from the Labour Party.

The ex-London mayor has been suspended since 2016 in a row over allegations of anti-Semitism following comments he made about Hitler and Zionism.

Mr Livingstone said he did not accept he was guilty of anti-Semitism or bringing Labour into disrepute but his case had become a "distraction" for the party and its political ambitions.

Jeremy Corbyn said it was a sad moment but it was the "right thing to do".

Commons Speaker John Bercow has said he "respects all his colleagues" after admitting using the word "stupid" during Commons exchanges.

He said he used the word, reported to have been directed at Commons leader Andrea Leadsom, as a "muttered aside".

There's only the one person involved in this who is or has been 'stupid'.
