Try to open one of my latest ships' dat, you can import a great number of materials/skins.

I think one can change smoke easy.
I just looked for a ship with similar funnel position and copy the smoke Id from there in .sim
I think it works this way

Wth when im gonna Continue The Bretagne And already Separated Thats All And when im gonna make the Dat And make new Node/3d And wanted to import it always say this man im tired :haha:

You must triangulate every mesh before import...

I have added some of these ships using JSGME. They appear in the roster, but if I add them to the game using the mission editor, they will not spawn.



Any ideas why?

Were they historically in service when you chose to place them?

... and the date and time of the mis file you create, versus the date and time of the entry of the ship(s) you are using. Many ships & planes in the game default to using 19380101 0000 as the date and time of entry. If your mission is for 1942, you may never see what you added...

Thank you for replying. I am trying to add them to the campaign, specifically to the Campaign_RND.mis layer. Does that make a difference?



The ships are Swedish DD Sauro and TB Spica. The date in campaign is June 1942 so both ships should be within there historical range.

Well, i usually script ships using Campaign_SCR, so i'm sure about meet them.

The RND file is, as name suggest, the "random" part of the campaign.
If i well remember, you should be sure to include the SPECIFIC units (not generic\types) with SpawnProbability=100, or they will be spawned only sometimes...

1942 should be ok.

The models are very well done. They look like models from a modern game, not a game from 2005.


Are there any alternate skins? I am pretty sure the Swedish navy did not have those Regia Marina red and white stripes.
