Good news everyone. I've added yet another new Sub, SS-207 USS Grampus a Gar Class Submarine. Below is an example of her Battle Flag and an example of the Insignia on the Conning Tower.

The skin uses Foobor's Black skin for the Early war and the Weathered Skin for the Late War. The Bow of the ship also displays the ship's SS number (SS-207)

just downloaded the triton skin and... nothing, same ole black foobar's skin, no emblem... is this 1.5 compatible?

I don't have the add-on yet, so I can't say with certainty, but I don't believe the sub skins textures were moved or had their names changed. Anyone else having the problem with 1.5?

You might want to double check the folder structure to make sure that the first thing you see inside the skins folder is the "Data" folder.

Are you using this in a single mission or in career? What is the date? What other mods are you using?

If you are using TM, I believe that some of the subs have conning towers from other subs, which could cause the skin not to work. If that is the case, then we'll need to know which conning tower the sub uses so that the texture for the tower can be renamed.

career in march '42. i'm using TMO with SP 1b and 2, RSRD with patch 3 on version 1.5

Sounds like it. In looking at the last TM that I downloaded to look through, it appears that he's using the Gato tower during parts of the war and the Tambor in other parts. If this is the case, then you can copy the ...._T01 and _T02 textures in the killflags skin ....\Data\Textures\TNormal\tex folder and rename the copies from TamborTower to GatoTower (ending up with 2 copies of each file, one named for the Tambor and the other for the Gato) and your emblem should appear no matter what part of the war it is. Please note that you would have to do this every time you download an updated killflag skin. Also please note that these two textures (from the original Fooskins) are not identical, but I don't believe that there would be any problems with the appearance of the tower.
