Yes....another patch is needed Ubisoft.

Like I said a week after SH4 was released ... I won't play anymore until the game is playable .. Will hesitate about purchasing anymore UBI products until they stand behind their work ..........

Yes. We definitely need this patch and we definitely need these software companies to stop selling beta (and sometimes alpha) products as finished. If not, we can hit them where it hurts--right in their revenue!

The members of the SubSim community are people that not only want to have fun playing games, but also want to enjoy the feeling of being there while sitting at home. :cool:

That requires a realistic simulator, and I think UbiSoft realized it with the release of SH4. We all know that such a product can't be perect upon release. This is why the company should appreciate all the testing and recommandations we come up with to improve the quality of their product, because they couldn't afford a team of testers like SubSim. :up:

Finish what you started Ubi. The Original Silent Hunter Commander Edition is what got me really into the game of submarine simulation, so I started a web site bragging about the game.

SHIV needs the new patch, you have thousands of dissappointed submarine customers. I have talked to many people about the SHIV and a lot of them told me they had to spend mega bucks to upgrade their computers just so they can play SHIV, so PLEASE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, GIVE US THE NEXT UPGRADE.

I'm still just playing sh3, but at some point I will play sh4 a bit, but it won't be until it's "complete". So I'm adding my vote for patch 3.

UBI has turned out a tremendous product with SH 4 . As hard core gamers we undrstand and accept the fact that such undertaking are issued with flaws ,bugs and sometimes incomplete functionality . The modding comunity supports these better games at great expence of personal time for (free) trying to cure the short commings many times with great success . I personaly Love them all for their great efforts . UBI on the other hand must pay for the time that their programmers work on projects . Ubi must bear this expence and repair the issues such as manual targeting and other hard coded problems . Things beyond the scope of most of the modding comunity . I love the game and all of the eye candy but if we don't get reasonable support from Ubi on finishing what they started my vote will be cast on this subject at the cash regester in the future . Several companies have turned out interesting products that I refuse to buy because they dropped the ball too soon on unfinished or buggy products .

Ubi please finish what you started and we will support you with our purchases of future products . Ignoring this problem can cause great distrust in you future projects .

I'd add that Ubi needs to fix the AA gun view on the GATO class boats. When looking out at a 90 degree port or starboard the sight is obstructed by the gun tub walls - in other words the POV is behind the walls so the walls get drawn and you can't see the sight anymore.

I haven't purchased SH4 yet because i usually wait to see what other people think first. In this case all I can say I will not but this product without a 3rd patch.
